Puzzle Time

Parker took a break from shopping in Gatlinburg to work on some puzzles.

"Pappy" (Pacifier) Free

Parker got his pacifier taken away the night before last.  The first night was tough.  He cried for about 30 minutes before falling asleep.  I went in several times and rocked him, but we didn't give him the pacifier.  I really wanted to!!!  He even woke up at 4:45 in the morning and wanted his paci.  I went up and rocked him and rocked him.  He had a rough nap the next day too.  He cried for about 30 minutes and then only slept 45 minutes. 

The second night he went to bed without a peep, just like before we took paci away!  We couldn't believe it.  Today at nap time he asked me for "pappy" several times, but went to sleep without crying.  I just can't believe that he is really doing it so easily!  He is getting to be such a big boy!  I want to put a rock on his head!

More Playtime at Delmas Long

He loves the pink tricycle!  In his defense, mostly to his Uncle David, it was the only one that was free.  Plus he played some hoops too.

Parker has decided that he is old enough to do his own shopping. Evidently we need a lot of plastic pumpkins.

Computer Time at the Gallatin Library

Parker went to his music class with Ms. Shannon today. We got there early so he had fun playing on the computer until it was time for class.

Playtime with Will and Noah

Will and Noah came over to play this morning.  Parker had a blast, but had a hard time sharing his car with Will...  Some things never change!

2 Year Well Visit

Parker had his 2 year well visit with Dr. Johnson today.  He got a great report.  Parker even talked to Dr. Johnson.  He said "Hi", "Thank You", and "Bye Bye" throughout the visit.  I could tell Dr. Johnson was very impressed.  :)  Dr. Johnson said that he interacted with him extremely well for his age and that he could tell he was a smart and happy child.

Parker is still small for his age.  He is 23 pounds and 4 ounces (5th percentile) and is 33 inches tall (20th percentile).  Dr. Johnson wants him to come in again in 3 months to check his height and weight since Parker is so small.  He said that Parker is absolutely fine, but that he wants to make sure Parker doesn't "fall off the curve".  He didn't feel comfortable waiting the normal year to monitor his height and weight.

Parker didn't have to get any shots this visit and he got a sucker on the way out.  He also got to get a happy meal on the way home since he did so well.

Tot Time at Delmas Long Community Center

Parker went to play on his birthday with several of his friends at Delmas Long Community Center.  It is basically just a big gym with a bunch of toys, but he LOVED it!!!
