Solo Haircut

Parker got a haircut and sat by himself for the first time today!

Who knew the Lowe's parking lot could be so fun?

Today we stumbled onto something so fun for Parker.  We were running some errands and say a sign for a Free Block Party.  Actually, before Ashley and I could even read the sign, Parker starting yelling, "I want to slide!!"  We pulled over to check it out and Parker had such a good time going down slides, bouncing, looking at the horses, and going through tunnels.  Ashley was such a good sport and did all the slides and tunnels with him!  The only break Parker took was to run into Lowe's to use the potty.  (He has been doing great with potty training.  Although, we still haven't gotten the hang of going number 2 in the potty.)  We had so much fun at such an unexpected place!  Parker was dripping with sweat by the end of the fun, but he had a blast!

Up, Up, and Away

Parker, Daddy, and I went to an airplane play date at the Sumner County airport.  Parker got to see a plane take off and got to climb into several planes including Mr. Valentino's plane.

Parker is ready for summer, so we got out his pool. 

Big Brother Parker

Yes, it is true!  Ryan Parker is going to be a big brother!!!  The doctor tells us it is going to be around November 29, 2011.  We think there is a good chance the baby will make his appearance on Nonie's birthday!!

We told Grammy and Nonie on Easter.  Parker wore his Easter outfit, but when it was time to eat dinner Ashley said he needed to change clothes so he wouldn't get dirty.  This is what he was wearing when he came down:

Shockingly, Grammy was the first one to notice!  Ashley and I had a bet that Pops would be the first to notice! I think it took everyone a minute to let the news sink in.  When we called Uncle David to tell him, he said he knew the whole time. 

Parker does not really understand the concept of being a big brother yet.  When I tell him that I have a baby in my tummy, he lifts his shirt and points at his tummy and says "baby".
